I’m Clarissa Jaime, a learning experience designer, creative technologist, and event builder on a mission to make technology feel more human. I combine instructional design, frontend development, and community strategy to create learning experiences that do not just inform but inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection.
After several years in software engineering at Amazon, 2U, and Column, I realized that what I loved most was not just building technology but helping people understand and use it. That realization sparked my transition into learning design, facilitation, and community building, where I bring both creativity and technical depth into everything I design.
Today, my work lives at the intersection of education, design, and experience. I design digital platforms, host hands-on events, and build AI-powered tools that help people and small businesses grow through practical, engaging learning. My projects include:
JavaScript Quest - an RPG-inspired coding platform that turns learning JavaScript into an interactive, story-driven adventure
Main Street AI - a community and event series that helps small business owners and creators use AI to work smarter, not harder
My purpose is simple: to make learning approachable and empowering for everyone. Whether I am designing a course, building a product, or hosting an event, my goal is to help people see what is possible when creativity and technology work together.
Instructional design (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy), curriculum development, technical instruction, mentoring, and learner assessment
Designing and hosting workshops, meetups, and community programs that foster connection, learning, and collaboration; skilled in event facilitation, programming strategy, and partnership development
Human-centered design, UI/UX improvements, performance optimization, WCAG compliance, and inclusive design practices
AI Integration (tooling, agents, prototyping) and Frontend development (React, TypeScript, Next.js)
