I’m Clarissa Jaime, a learning experience designer who blends instructional design expertise with technical skills to create engaging, accessible, and measurable learning experiences. My work draws on adult learning theory, human-centered design, and emerging AI tools to design solutions that do not just deliver content but inspire action and retention.
I have designed and facilitated programs at multiple coding bootcamps, guiding learners through scenario-based challenges that build real-world skills. In industry roles at Amazon, Column, and 2U, I have developed scalable learning platforms, improved accessibility, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to align design with business and learner needs.
Currently, I am developing JavaScript Quest, a coding education platform that blends game design principles with emerging AI tools to boost engagement and empower learner success. The experience is grounded in the Octalysis Framework, a gamification model based on eight core human motivators, to sustain motivation and support skill mastery.
My goal is to keep exploring how AI, inclusive design, and evidence-based learning strategies can shape environments that are not only effective but genuinely motivating for diverse audiences.
